While it's unlikely at this point we'll be able to pursue SE-83 in its entirety anymore, if there's any part of it that could still conceivably happen it'd be to get rid of the bridging behavior of as coercion, since that's fully static and the compiler could help migrate you. That might help a lot with the Darwin/non-Darwin coherence problem too.
