Are there plans to have Network available on other platforms like Linux?

I'm assuming Network.framework relies on certain hooks and packages in the kernel and OS which may not be available on Linux (and no control over the version).

I'd argue that they're not really needed. The server ecosystem has packages that fill pretty much the entire gap
