Adding <Codable> to SceneKit?

If I wanted to add support for <Codable> to SceneKit objects would I just fork the Swift repo and modify:

And the do a pull request thing? Is there more discussion and stuff that has to happen or can I do the mods and say, “What do you think, sirs?” like on MST3K?

Unless I'm mistaken, SceneKit APIs are outside the scope of the Swift open
source project. Apple folks would have to say yes or no to any modification.
