Very disappointed also. It seems very clunky to use this for general observation the way you can with @Published. You can write your own , but it's a little weird that you have to.

Hi @timothycosta, I just mentioned this in another thread, but it should be known that the tool for converting withObservationTracking to a publisher has race conditions and cannot be relied upon:

Hi @prathameshk, I highly recommend you do not use that publisher tool. The use of Task { … } in withObservationTracking in order to get the changed value has potential race conditions.
