# \[Accepted\] ST-0028: Revise Swift Testing’s Attachment/Encodable interop

Hello Swift community,

The [review](https://forums.swift.org/t/st-0028-revise-swift-testing-s-attachment-encodable-interop/88904) of [ST-0028: Revise Swift Testing’s Attachment/Encodable interop](https://github.com/swiftlang/swift-evolution/blob/main/proposals/testing/0028-revise-attachment-encodable-interfaces.md) concluded on August Aug 27, 2026, and the Testing Workgroup decided that the proposal is **accepted**.

Feedback was light with general support, noting that this proposal compliments the [pitch](https://forums.swift.org/t/pitch-move-toplevelencoder-and-topleveldecoder-to-the-standard-library/88318) to move `TopLevel(Encoder|Decoder)` to the standard library.
