Hi, everyone. The review of SE-0370: Pointer family initialization improvements and better buffer slices is now complete.
There was quite a bit of good feedback on this review. The community was strongly supportive of the basic idea of the proposal and suggested a lot of small ways in which it could be substantively improved. The proposal author decided he agreed with those suggestions and revised the proposal; the Language Workgroup decided to allow those revisions mid-review, with the idea that we would extend the review period if there was any remaining controversy. The community seemed perfectly satisfied with the revised proposal, however; so is the Workgroup. SE-0370 is therefore accepted.
I'd like to thank the community once again for its efforts during this review; once more, a strong proposal has been made even better by the open review process.
